Parts

Kitchen Faucet Parts

Customized kitchen faucets are tailored to meet specific client requirements, including materials (e.g., stainless steel, brass), finishes (e.g., chrome, brushed nickel), spout designs (e.g., high-arc, pull-down), handle styles (e.g., single, double), and advanced features (e.g., touchless operation, smart controls).

Body

The body houses internal components and must be durable and corrosion-resistant. Made from stainless steel (304 grade), brass, or zinc alloy, with material thickness ranging from 1.5 mm to 2.0 mm.

Spout

The spout, where water exits, can be fixed, swiveling, or pull-down/pull-out. Made from stainless steel or brass, with lengths of 6 to 10 inches and heights of 8 to 16 inches.

Handle

Handles control water flow and temperature, available in single-handle (4 to 6 inches) or double-handle designs. Made from stainless steel or zinc alloy for optimal control and durability.

Cartridge

Ceramic cartridges regulate water flow and temperature, with diameters of 25 to 35 mm and a lifespan of up to 500,000 cycles for reliable performance and leak prevention.

Aerator

Attached to the spout’s end, aerators mix air with water, reducing splashing and conserving water. Standard thread sizes are M24x1 (male) or M22x1 (female), reducing flow rates to 1.5 GPM.

Disc

Ceramic discs, 3 to 4 mm thick, control water flow and ensure a tight seal to prevent leaks, critical for overall faucet performance.

Seat

Made from EPDM or silicone, the seat forms an anti-leak seal with the disc. It can withstand temperatures up to 120°C and pressures up to 10 bar, with diameters of 20 to 30 mm.

Stem

The stem connects the disc to the handle, ensuring smooth operation. Made from brass or stainless steel, with lengths of 50 to 100 mm, and must be precisely machined.

Actuator

Controls valve opening and closing, available in fail-open, fail-close, and manual styles for safety in case of failure.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing and Quality Assurance

Kitchen faucet parts include the body, spout, handle, cartridge, aerator, disc, seat, stem, and actuator. Each part plays a crucial role: the body houses components, the spout directs water, handles control flow and temperature, cartridges regulate water, aerators reduce splashing, discs and seats ensure sealing, stems connect components, and actuators manage operation. High-quality materials and precise engineering are essential for durability and performance.

Testing

Quality Testing

Faucets undergo leakage testing at 1.5 times their working pressure (around 150 psi) to ensure no leaks. Flow rates are tested to meet EPA’s WaterSense standards (1.5 to 2.2 GPM). We conduct a minimum of 24 hours of salt spray testing for corrosion resistance and test cartridges up to 500,000 cycles for durability. Temperature testing covers ranges from -20°C to 120°C (-4°F to 248°F).
